About me and my 'real' life
My Life
My name is Jennifer R. Povey. I am thirty-four years old and live in urban Northern Virginia with my husband. (No children). I am a naturalized citizen, having been born the other side of the 'pond' in Nottingham, England.
Writing
My primary genre is science fiction, but I have shorts in submission in the fantasy, horror and mystery genres, as well as mainstream fiction. I'm currently working on a science fiction novel, working title 'Transpecial'. I also have a finished paranormal thriller, 'Blood of Patriots', which is slowly making the query rounds.
Other interests
I spend much of my time working out ... have to stay healthy somehow. I also ride horses, when I can, and take in the occasional movie. I'm involved in a couple of roleplaying campaigns.
